Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of management accounts in a number of the group's subsidiary undertakings for inclusion in the groups management accounts. The successful applicant will be expected to provide support and challenge to local accountants in a number of group entities including Germany and Ireland whilst preparing information for others.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate production of subsidiary company management accounts and other key management information. Reporting of key variances to budget and forecast Inter-company account reconciliations. Balance sheet reconciliations and nominal ledger maintenance. Driving improvements and efficiencies within the management accounts processes. Managing subsidiary entity taxation compliance (CT/VAT/PAYE). Assist the financial controller with preparation of year end accounts. Ad hoc reporting, analysis and commission statement production. Proactively managing workload to ensure all deadlines are met within month-end timetable.
Person Specification:
-Good analytical and financial modelling skills
-Advanced Excel skills
-Strong communication (both verbal and written)
-Experience in working within a business partnering role preferred
-Excellent attention to detail, and comfortable with dealing with large bodies of data
