Senior Financial Accountant

I am recruiting the role of Senior Financial Accountant for a global and growing organisation based in South East Essex.

This role will be responsible for performing general accounting duties to compile and produce accurate financial statements, prepared in accordance to US GAAP.

The role:-
• Assist with the monthly closing process ensuring the reporting packages are completed, reviewed and submitted on time
• Coordinate and maintain the integrity of account reconciliations, key financial schedules and other reporting including intercompany analysis
• Work closely with the team to produce the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting
• Take finance team lead on all software / systems upgrades and implementations includ9ing any process improvements
• Work closely with the internal and external auditors to complete their audits

The candidate:-
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant or equivalent
• Will suit someone in practice or someone trained in practice with industry experience
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Multinational experience with foreign currency transactions would be beneficial
• Must be use to managing large volumes of data
