Howett Thorpe are currently supporting a well-known sports brand in Surrey, to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager. You will play a key role in driving the continuous development of the Finance function towards PLC control and reporting standards and will be responsible for managing one direct report.
About The Role
You will be full responsible for the preparation of group consolidation and subsidiary financial statements, delivery of the Annual Report and be the main point of contact for External Auditors, Tax Advisors for the interim and year-end audits. Other areas ongoing will include, continuous process improvement of the control environment, maintenance of financial policies, managing and developing of one direct report.
About You
- Qualified accountant (Practice trained) ACA or ACCA with two to four years PQE experience
- Strong technical knowledge and practical application of FRS102 including conversions from 'old' UK GAAP.
- Preparation of Group consolidations and statutory financial statements
- Working knowledge of UK Corporation Tax and VAT
