Anthony Cole Associates are proud to be once again partnering with one of the world's leading support services organisations. Due to a new initiative being undertaken for 2017, they are currently recruiting a newly created role for a Project Manager to act as the UK Project Manager's number 2 and to take responsibility for driving a number of financial projects, starting with the implementation of a new ERP solution.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Deliver and manage projects across the UK&IE organisation.
- Define project methodology and make sure it is applied
- Ensure project progress and quality (track deliverables)
- Build and update project detailed planning
- Alert steering committee in case of planning slippage / Propose an implement corrective actions
- Present project’s progress to the Steering Committee
- Monitor issues and risks
- Coordinate project team and resources
- Assign roles and responsibilities
- Ensure project coordination with other Division/Group projects
- Manage workshops organization
- Maintain planning of workshops
- Ensure consistency with attendee's agenda
- Book meeting rooms according to workshops and meeting schedules
- Verify attendee's availability and participation prior to workshops/meetings
- Manage project committees organization
- Maintain planning of project committees
- Ensure attendee's availability and participation
- Manage project documentation
- Capitalise project documentation
- Administrate Teamroom (or any other documentation sharing platform)
Experience necessary for the Project Manager:
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent finance experience
- Prince 2 qualification is essential
- Experience with ERP system implementation - preferably Microsoft Nav, and strong business transformation/change project delivery experience
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products including MS Visio
As the Project Manager, you will be reporting directly to the UK Project Manager. As a person, you will be results orientated, self-motivated with excellent communication skills to with the confidence of the senior stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity with many challenges, that requires someone who is enthusiastic to succeed and deliver within the business. The role is based in mostly in Surrey, however the person can work out of their London offices for circa 2 days a week.
