Our client is a UK subsidiary of a household name, pioneering super-brand, with revenues of over €10 Bn worldwide. Operating as the No 2 in Finance for this autonomous division - based in impressive offices in Liverpool city centre - this role has been created through company expansion and an internal promotion and reports to an impressive ACMA CGMA FC who is committed to raking your development to the next level. In an all-encompassing role - spanning both Management & Financial Accounting - you will be based in a small, friendly, supportive, finance team of 4 with duties including:

  • Monthly Management accounts
  • Variance analysis & reporting
  • Business Planning & forecasting
  • WIP - Analysis of business operations by project
  • Business Partnering with Operations teams
  • Weekly project forecast
  • Sales & margin analysis
  • Cost Control
  • Sales bid pricing calculations
  • Fixed Asset Control
  • Expenses
  • Balance sheet reconciliation - including VAT, Tax & Control accounts
  • Managing an Accounts Assistant
  • Hands on support to sales invoicing, credit control, purchasing & accounts payable

Applicants will either be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA Management Accountants or later stage active studiers with experience spanning most of the specified duties. You will also (preferably) hold a finance degree and must have excellent analytical skills & problem-solving skills; Good communication & interpersonal skills; A good attention to detail; Ability to work under pressure; and will be self-motivated with the drive to succeed. You will also have a high level of IT proficiency and will be a real team player with the gravitas, personality & style of approach required to successfully engage with all levels including senior management. This excellent career opportunity is complimented with a salary of up to £35,000 and benefits including bonus to 12%, Pension (8%), 25 days holiday, a 37.5 hours week - with flexible working time options - and additional benefits including childcare & employee discounts
