Resourcery Group are supporting a leading Not-for-Profit organisation in North Wales who are looking to recruit a newly appointed role of Financial Accountant to help support in the delivery of the wider organisation's Group finance strategy through the delivery of the annual statutory reporting, cash flow planning and regular statistical reporting.

The role holder will pay a central role in providing advice and support to budget holders and senior management, as well as external regulatory bodies on financial performance matters.

Interested applicants must be able to display and robust and previous working knowledge of preparing annual statutory consolidated financial statements under IFRS and have taking ownership of the Group's Balance Sheet.

VAT, Tax, compliance returns, Treasury and cash management, cash flow forecasting (weekly) process and control improvements and ERP enhancements all fall under the remit and ownership of the role.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate they:

  • are an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
  • possess prior experience working as a Financial Accountant with responsibility for annual statutory consolidated Group financial statements and managing the annual audit.
  • possess robust knowledge of accounting standards under IFRS
  • have experience of preparation and review of VAT, Tax and compliance returns

This role is commutable from the Flintshire, Chester, Wrexham, Northwich and Crewe areas. Sector relevance is not required for this role. A technical understanding and experience of working as a Financial Accountant is essential.
