SF Group are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join our market leading client. The position will work closely with the Group Finance Manager ensuring the production of accurate, relevant and timely financial information.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the production of Management Accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform journal postings and reconciliations
- Manage and oversee the work of the Accounts Assistant
- Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
- Assist with the annual audit
- Working closely with senior management and providing them with financial reports
- Variance analysis
Some marketing experience is desirable, preferably within the manufacturing, waste sector or local authority.
You also should have:
- Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by Experience
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- At least 3 years' experience in a Management Accountant Role
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to act independently and apply own initiative
