Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to...
Day to day management of the finance function including the transactional finance function
Monthly reporting and P&L ownership
Preparation of all statutory financial information to UK accounting standards and the production of annual statutory accounts
Supervise a team qualified Accountants and P/Q studiers
Production of consolidated budgets and forecasts
Update and maintain business KPIs with input and support of the strategic development
Creating financial reports to support business commercial decisions and strategic planning
Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process, reporting of actual figures to budget/forecast
Establishing controls to effectively manage the business assets and liabilities
Developing and supporting the wider business systems and key stakeholders
Payroll, VAT & PAYE, P11d's etc.
Minimum expectations...
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
Team management experience and proven track record in the development of said team
Exceptional process and procedure knowledge in accordance with financial standards
Experience within the FMCG/Logistics/Distribution space preferred
