Robertson Bell Finance are working with a renowned London based university to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant for their growing team. The role is covering maternity leave and is due to last for a period of 11 months on a fixed term contract basis.
The main responsibilities of the role are to implement efficient financial accounting, administration of the balance sheet items and overseeing a team of three staff. You will also be responsible for preparing statutory accounts and liaising with auditors. Other responsibilities include managing the monthly process to ensure accuracy and completion of income and expenditures, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and providing monthly group financial reports to senior management.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified, have experience in a similar role in any sector and will also have extensive experience in financial accounting and be a natural problem solver. Candidates with an audit background will have an advantage. Experience leading a team, developing relationships and strong communications with non-finance staff is a necessity to be successful in the role. You will be available with a maximum of one month notice period.
