The role would suit a candidate with a range of modelling capabilities, ensure that overseas subsidiaries financial information is detailed and you would have the opportunity to act as a finance business manager working with a range of stakeholders.

The client is a large multi-national educational institution that is a global leader in its sector.

Description

The role will involve these following core duties;

• Develop a comprehensive management information package comprising management accounts, financial forecasts and other relevant reports for overseas regional offices funded from the UK. This will include budget setting, forecasting models and the refinement of income and expenditure models.

• Act as a finance business manager for managers and budget holders where you will provide a management accounting service where you would be responsive and flexible to their needs.

• Ensuring that financial information from subsidiaries overseas is detailed and categorised to allow for the inclusion of management and financial group consolidated accounts.

• Leading the consolidation of overseas and UK entities, balances and results into group financial statements.

• First point of contact for auditors, reviewing and responding to tax risks and provide technical support to finance and non-finance staff.

Profile

The candidate will need:

• Degree level or equivalent

• Qualified CCAB accountant with post qualification experience

• Experience of managing a significant project with established time-lines

• Experience with dealing with an internal and external auditor

• Highly developed IT skills including Excel and financial reporting tools

Job Offer

Salary: £50,563 - £58,234 including outer London weighting.
