Due to the retirement of the current Finance Director they are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller. The ideal applicant will be a fully qualified Accountant ideally from a Legal firm or have a background in Professional Services.
This is a varied role that gives you a longer term opportunity to become the Finance Director. You will be overseeing a small, well established team. You will be accountable to the Finance Partner for the day to day running of the Finance department and will be a hands on controller whilst also supporting the partners with the growth and development of the firm.
Your duties will include producing monthly management accounts, financial accounts and statutory accounts preparation. You will need to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to communicate at all levels. A working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules will be highly beneficial.
