Management Accountant

Based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, our client is an established and growing business who are looking for an Management Accountant to join their team on a 4-6 week temporary basis and add to the success they are already achieving.

This job would ideally suit somebody working in a similar Management Accountant role with a minimum of 2 years' experience and a desire to learn quickly and grow with the business. You will work closely with a very friendly team and take joint responsibility to produce monthly Management Accounts.

This company is a business support facility who provide an excellent service to its clients and have grown considerably since inception.

The successful individual will have an all-round understanding of accounts and be familiar with the basic production of monthly management accounts, including invoicing, credit control, expenses, VAT calculations and bank reconciliations. Great communication skills are essential as the candidate will be liaising with stakeholders daily.

Duties will include:

• Creating invoices
• Responsible for ensuring money owed to the company is collected and allocated correctly
• Process VAT calculations
• Process expense and credit card claims
• Assist with the regular journal entries in the production of the management accounts
• Purchase ledger duties, including, matching and scanning invoices
• Perform the bank reconciliations, allocate payments and investigate any queries
