Hewitson Walker are recruiting an Audit Manager for a leading top 10 firm of Chartered Accountants. With an extensive UK presence and access to a global market. Servicing a mixture of private clients, corporates, professional practices, and non-profit organisations you be part of a business offering world class service.
Based in the centre of Bristol, you'll focus primarily on mid-corporates, owner-managed businesses, private clients and professionals.
As Audit Manager you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end audit process, consultancy assignments and relationships of a mixed portfolio of clients. You will ensure clients are provided with a high quality service, through the effective management of resources within the team and liaison with relevant departments.
You'll be responsible for setting the timetable, booking staff, planning review and completion of audit and other related assignments.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant able to answer staff and client technical queries and make technical decisions.
Staff management and the complete management of the audit process is essential.
