Senior Management Accountant

The Company

Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a £40m turnover over US owned manufacturing company based near to Gainsborough who are looking to recruit for a Senior Management Accountant

The Job

• This job will report to the Finance Director and will ensure that the company complies with all group reporting including Sox compliance, developing the financial awareness of managers and improving the product costing and flash reporting processes
• Redevelop the weekly flash reporting system to speed up the processes involved, improving the accuracy and effectiveness of this report
• Redevelop the feedstock reports to improve their accuracy and effectiveness
• Work with the local and central IT teams to develop improved processes and manage their implementation
• Production of the weekly Flash Report
• Ensure PRNs are calculated in an accurate and timely manner in line with EA requirements
• Weekly stock count
• Manage Capex projects including post-completion monitoring
• Process mapping of all business processes
• Business risk analysis
• Working with non finance managers to calculate budgets and monitor on going performance
• Working with operations teams to ensure that proposals are costed and calculated accurately

The Person

Qualified Accountant with experience in a management accounting role. You will be proactive, have the ability to meet tight deadlines, a good understanding of business strategy and the ability to interpret financial data. You will need to challenge practices and processes and have a proven ability to build working relationships
