Group Accounting Manager

Global Accounting Network is partnering with fast paced and high growth media organisation with a really interesting product offering. This business has been around for nearly 20 years and in that time has grown into a market leader, listed on the FTSE and expanded internationally. Not content with that, the business plans for the next period are ambitious and broad.

This broad and challenging role overseas the management reporting, group reporting and forecasting for the group, working extensively with the SLT and gaining really good exposure to the whole business performance.

Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:

• Oversee full group reporting function
• Own and deliver complex month end processes and reports
• Regular analysis of group performance, KPI’s, variances, etc.
• Ownership of balance sheet and P&L at a group level
• Process and controls improvement experience
• Co-ordination and delivery of all statutory reporting
• Involvement in group treasury decision making and processes

The ideal candidate will fit some or all of the following:

• ACA qualified from a top 20 practice
• Experienced in group reporting and consolidations
• Experienced in process and controls improvements
• IFRS 102 knowledge
• The personality to engage with senior media stakeholders

This job will suit someone with a technical background who wants more, who wants to get out into the business a bit and who has the wherewithal to influence and network amongst media leaders.
