Payroll Advisor

Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Advisor to work 4 days per week on a 8 month fixed term contract for a forward thinking organisation based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

• This role would suit a candidate who is immediately available to start work and has previous experience as a Payroll Advisor with a sound understanding of statutory requirements relating to payroll, including; pension, SSP, SMP, SPP, third party deductions, P11d, P45, P60 and HMRC reporting.
• Excellent communication & IT skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy with a "can do" attitude are essential for this role.

Requirements:

The successful Payroll Advisor will be required to:

• Manage the collation of data for the monthly payroll including staff expenses claims
• Work closely with the HR function to process new starters, leavers and ad hoc changes
• Support the HR function with staff inductions
• Ensure that all statutory requirement of pension auto-enrolment are complied with
• Provide pension information to staff; liaise with pension provider and co-ordinate pension roadshows where required
• Ensure that payslips are distributed in a timely manner
• Ensure that all staff records are kept up to date in relation to absence and attendance
• Support the HR team with relevant reporting requirements and general administration
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times
