A Group finance team for £Bn group looking to recruit a technical finance reporting manager. The role will focus on meeting the financial reporting requirements (including group reporting and the preparation of UK statutory accounts) and consolidating the results of the UK & Ireland region.

A key part of the role will be supporting the UK Legal Finance Director in promoting good governance, and ensuring compliance with group policy and IFRS accounting standards across the Company. You will act as subject matter expert for the UK finance community, providing accounting consultancy and advice for complex deals and transactions under IFRS. This is a highly visible role, with the opportunity to develop relations with senior finance figures across the business.

You will enhance finance processes including oversight of UK balance sheet; build relationships with CFOs and controllers and get involved in other projects outside the main reporting cycle. You will also take responsibility for managing a member of the finance team.

We are looking for candidates to have an appropriate accounting qualification, ACA, ACCA or CA with experience of working with IFRS including FRS 101 and FRS 102. You will need to have some reporting experience and strong intellect.
