My client, an historic and iconic clothing brand, is currently seeking an Overseas Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and stable finance team.
You will support the Financial Controller in compiling the accounts for overseas retail companies to ensure that performance targets are met, as well as ensuring the in-house stock and ordering system is maintained. Further duties include:
*Assist with the preparation and closing of the overseas store accounts and month end reporting, accurately recording assets and liabilities on a timely basis
*Maintain the cashbook and carry out weekly bank reconciliations posting all payments to relevant ledgers ensuring any discrepancies are investigated and accounted for
*Posting all invoices to SAP and updating purchase ledger
*General ledger posting to trial balance stage
*Preparation of monthly treasury reports
*Attending stock takes at various Retail locations which will involve Overseas travel
This person will be AAT accredited and ideally studying towards qualifying (CIMA/ACCA). Study support will be offered to the right candidate.
