Job Description

* Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts on Sage 50 Accounts
* Upkeep of accounts receivable/payable ledger
* Translating and using foreign currencies
* Preparing royalty/service charge invoices and other recharge invoices/journals
* Preparing monthly intercompany statements and agreeing reconciliations with subsidiaries
* Assisting the finance manager with other month end tasks
* Dealing with queries from the subsidiaries.
* Preparing and submitting Head Office HMRC VAT submissions
* Managing company credit card, petty cash and employee expenses
* Preparing prepayments and fixed asset schedules/journals at month end
* Preparation of monthly payment run
* Entering payments to suppliers on a weekly/monthly basis using an online banking platform
* Reconciling supplier statements on monthly basis
* Assisting with year-end close
* Liaising with external and internal auditors
* Involvement in the HR function for a small number of head office employees (pensions, employee benefits and on/off boarding)
* Ad hoc treasury tasks
* Ad hoc tasks/projects

Experience/Skills

* Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Self-motivated
* Good eye for detail
* Highly organised and ability to manage time well.
* Good communication skills to interface with colleagues, staff and teams (financial and with non-financial background) around the Group to Board level
