INTERIM FINANCE MANAGER AT £200 PER DAY FOR CENTRAL GOVERNMENT BODY IN MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE


Your new company
I am working exclusively with a Central Government Body in Manchester City Centre, which is looking to recruit an interim Finance Manager on a 4 month contract. Your new role
Supported by the Head of Finance and wider finance team you will be responsible for the allocation of budgets, monthly management accounts and year-end accounting in accordance with statutory requirements. You will provide financial advice and support to various internal and external stakeholders. You will also prepare long term budgets and monitoring budgets on a regular basis and identifying variations. You will be Involved in projects and explore efficiency and cost saving methods.

What you will need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or similar) with previous experience working in a Public Sector organisation, ideally within a Central Government organisation. You will have sound technical accounting skills, the ability to analyse data and prepare written reports and communicate effective with various stakeholders.
