Our client operates in the manufacturing sector, the business has a turnover of £12m and they are now looking to appoint a financial controller to report to the MD. This is the No.1 role on site with a dotted line to the overseas parent company.
The role requires a hands on qualified accountant who can work closely with the MD in providing management accounts, budgets , forecast and analysis. The successful candidate will look at standard costings and pricing and experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be beneficial. In addition, a new ERP systems implementation will be taking place in 2017, previous experience in a systems implementation would also be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified management accountant looking to step up into a Financial Controller role or a Finance Manager or Controller looking to take on a new challenge with a profitable and financially sound business.
