We are working in partnership with a Digital Media company based in Leamington Spa to recruit a part-time Finance Manager. The business is multi-award winning, extremely dynamic and boasts a client roster of blue chip companies. Reporting into the MD, we are looking for someone to work a 25 hour week and lead the small finance team.
You will be responsible for the accounting function and the provision of all financial information, you will possess exceptional communication and analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and have well developed business partnering skills to add genuine value to this expanding business.
You will have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines, whilst leading and developing a small team.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the finance function and the provision of financial and management accounts
- Production of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Business partnering with operations and sales teams
- Timely production of reliable MI to the Board to support decision making
- Overseeing all aspects of the day to day accounting function including transactional data, foreign currency risk, payroll, VAT and other business taxes
- Maintaining third party relationships with key suppliers
- Leading and developing a small team including a part qualified accountant and admin assistant
Skills / Experience required:
- Qualified accountant with service sector experience
- Business partnering in a fast-paced environment
- Experience across all areas of accounts including payroll, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
- People skills in managing and developing a small, talented team
- Good grasp of systems and systems development
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
