Corporate Finance Manager

Leading Chartered Accountancy firm looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Finance Manager


Hays are recruiting for a leading Accountancy Practice who are currently expanding their Corporate Finance team and are looking for a talented Manager with Corporate Finance experience to join the team in a hands on, pro-active, client-facing role. Whilst being Corporate Finance focused, the role requires candidates to have exceptional accounting, tax and commercial knowledge as well as a breadth of client experience.

Principal Responsibilities:
Providing close support to Partners and the rest of the team.
Focussed on managing the wider team on delivering Information memoranda, valuation reports, financial due diligence reports for partner review.
Project managing a range of transactional and advisory work, leading a team of dedicated support staff. Attending meetings with Partners & clients, providing technical and lead advisory support; liaising with portfolio holders and other team members to bring together necessary advice and information for client projects.

Person Specification:
This is a client facing role and it is imperative that candidates have a strong passion to help support growing owner managed businesses with profit improvement, strategic planning, tax advice, mergers and acquisitions and minimising the risks that are inherent in Corporate Finance Transactions.

Qualifications/Training Required:
ACCA/ACA Qualified with the ambition to undertake specific Corporate Finance qualifications as required
Recent practice experience within Corporate Finance is essential, ideally in both lead advisory and transactions services preferably from an SME focused client base
