Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager / Senior to join them on a permanent basis to start as soon as possible. The main purpose of the job would be to prepare and control the day to day payroll reporting to the Tax Manager.

The ideal candidate will have lots of payroll experience, ideally 5-10 years + and will have practice experience and experience supervising / managing people.

 

Role Responsibilities will include:                

  • Day to day responsibility in PAYE Department.
  • Auto Enrolment Pension system to be administered - taking on the day to day control of the system giving regular progress reports to Tax Manager / SMT for action and research.
  • To develop role and tax products for clients.
  • To assist in keeping all tax filing and correspondence up to date.
  • To report any variances, errors or problems to SMT.
  • To ensure all PAYE deadlines set by clients and Revenue met.
  • To train, develop and supervise staff required in your department.
  • To ensure quality work and controls in place including auto enrolment.
  • To keep up to date with tax legislations appertaining to work undertaken and assigned changes.
  • To undertake Tax Returns (optional) and client letters and review progress.
  • Completion of Contractors monthly returns (CIS), ensuring PAYE deadlines set by HM Revenue & Customs are met.
