Payroll Supervisor

Payroll Supervisor required for 12 month fixed term contract based in Walsall area for a large established business. Reporting to and working closely with the Payroll Manager you will play a key role supporting the team to accurately produce payroll and pensions. This is a hands on role with responsibility for the day to day management of the team including processing personally allocated payrolls.

The role:

Supervision of Payroll team

BACS payments and post payroll reports

Reconciliation and payment over of all statutory and voluntary deductions

Auto-enrolment processing

HMRC submissions RTI / pension etc

Days to day running of the team

Uploading e-payslips, e-P60's, e-P11d's onto e-pay portal

Cover for Payroll Manager in absence

Experience/Qualifications:

CIPP qualification is ideal

Hands on approach

Proven supervisory experience in a fast paced environment

Extensive legislation knowledge

Proven 'hands on' experience of delivering high volume payrolls

Continuous process review to improve efficiency

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

Strong Excel & Payroll software skills
