Payroll Administrator

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Payroll Administrator for a large Barnsley based organisation. Close to the motorway they are commutable from Rotherham, Wakefield and Sheffield.


THE JOB:

Reporting to the HR Manager the main purpose of the role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll. Duties include:

Processing weekly payroll for c1500 employees using a time and attendance system
Dealing with all payroll queries
Liaising with Manager to ensure queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently
Processing all new starters / leavers paperwork
Dealing with 3rd parties
RTI
Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON:

Experience in payroll processing and time & attendance systems is essential
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of statutory payments and annual holidays while ensuring the business is compliant with current HMRC and auto enrolment legislation
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential
You must be IT literate with working knowledge of Excel
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail essential
