The Job
We are looking for a new team member to assist with the day-to-day running of the accounts department. You will be responsible for a breadth of accounting tasks - credit control, purchase and sales ledger processing cash management (payments and remittance), bank reconciliations (UK & Euro), management of invoice discounting facility, maintaining the fixed asset register, payroll, VAT returns, intrastat returns, and various other duties as required. As with any small, fast-growing company, you will be fully exposed to every area of the business.

The ideal candidate will be bright, numerate and trustworthy. You will be quietly confident and will enjoy being part of a small, hard-working team. You will be keen to learn new skills and to take on new responsibilities whilst performing the core tasks covered above. You will ideally be AAT qualified and will have a minimum of five years experience in a similar role. You will also ideally have experience working within a similar FMCG environment - and will therefore be familiar with the ins and outs of an ERP system. You will be comfortable working your way around excel spreadsheets.

This is a full time role, though we would consider candidates looking for a 4-day week - depending on experience and individual circumstances.

Crosta & Mollica
Crosta & Mollica is an Italian bakery brand with offices in  Clapham, London.   Our journey began when our founder, James Orr, was in Italy working with farmers to source the best fresh produce for supermarkets back home. The farming families would often serve up delicious local specialities to the farm workers and guests at lunchtime.  Meals were eaten all together and were a time to share good food and company. The wonderful breads became a mealtime favourite for James and soon he was seeking out local mills and bakeries so that he could bring their delicious produce back to the UK.   

Translated from the Italian for ‘crust & crumb’, Crosta & Mollica was founded with a desire to make great Italian food that brings friends and family all together. Years later, we are still dedicated to helping our customers discover the finest bakery products and regional specialities that Italy has to offer.  

Today we work with a select group of bakeries in Italy who produce delicious regional Italian specialities which we have brought together under the Crosta & Mollica brand and which we sell to both national retailers and independents both in the UK and France.
