Group Financial Accountant

The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting a Group Financial Accountant on a 9 month Fixed Term contract for a well-known Retail Group based in Central London. The Successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years PQE outside of practice, preparing month/year end Financial Accounts.

Responsibilities

Setting up word templates for statutory accountsSetting up excel workings to support statutory accountsManual preparation/drafting of statutory accounts under FRS101 (there are circa 25 companies)Preparation of GST and quarterly VAT returnsCompletion of National Statistics Returns and SurveysMonth end procedures and preparation of Balance Sheet recsAd hoc assistance to the Tax ManagerAd hoc assistance to the Group Reporting Manager

Essential

Qualified accountant (preferably ACA)Experience of manually preparing statutory accounts and notesExperience of preparing VAT returnsProficient using word and excel

Desirable

Experience of using Coda (versions 10 and 13)
