A super opportunity for an analytical individual to join this international manufacturing business as their Divisional Reporting Accountant. The purpose of the role is to assist in the development and roll-out of standard divisional budgeting, planning, forecasting and monthly reporting tools and other models in order to increase productivity and reduce month end reporting timetables.

You will be qualified or studying for a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc.) with the desire to see this through to completion and develop within the company. You will also have an analytical approach to all tasks undertaken ensuring that they are completed meticulously with a high attention to detail.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Continually reviewing, challenging and assisting in the development of all financial based systems
  • Playing a key role in the financial and wider integration of new business
  • Assisting in balance sheet review process and forecasting reviews
  • Improve all levels of forecasting accuracy
  • Analytical review of monthly reporting information, budget and strategic plan submissions including liaising with senior Finance staff to provide a summary of key findings
  • Support with monthly group pack preparation and other development activities
  • Ensure that the divisional roll-up of intercompany balances are fully reconciled on a monthly basis and any exceptions are followed up with finance teams, reconciled and updated.

Flexibility is required as you will be required to travel to other divisional sites worldwide when needed.
