Group Financial Accountant

Frazer John London is working with a FTSE listed leisure business to recruit a Group Financial Accountant for an initial 4 months. The business has recently transitioned through a large scale re-organisation and needs additional support to take them through their half year period. In the medium term, the group accounting team will be looking for a permanent resource in this area, so for the right candidate this can be a consideration. 

The position is ideal for someone making their first move out of practice or for someone with post qualified experience in a group accounting role, ideally in a PLC environment. 

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

·Technical accounting guidance on IFRS standards and M&A impacts on the group

·Reporting of the group financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

·Consolidation of multiple entities, from various countries and currencies

·Deliver technical training to stakeholders across the globe

To be considered you must be a qualified accountant with a strong technical background. Communication skills will be key as there are various, high level stakeholders you will partner with.
