A well-known Charity in Sheffield are looking for a Finance Manager to join their highly dedicated team. This not for profit organisation do some excellent work and they are looking for someone who wants to work in the sector.
As the Finance Manager you will take on various duties and responsibilities. You will be given the opportunity to forge a good working relationship with the Head of Finance and your main responsibilities will include:
-Running successful budget management and financial control systems.
-Overseeing the VAT returns
-Producing prompt, accurate, reliable and meaningful management information
-Managing 5 members of staff
-Producing commentary on management accounts
-Month End Reporting
The role requires you to have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise on a range of organisational demands. You should be an effective communicator with the ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal, negotiating and performance management skills and to impart financial information to non-financial audiences. Excellent report-writing skills are essential alongside the ability to demonstrate well-developed analytical skills. The successful applicant must demonstrate receptiveness to innovation and new ways of doing things.
