Senior Finance Business Partner

A large Food Retailer are seeking an interim Senior Finance Business Partner for a 6 month assignment.

Based out of their Greater Manchester based office this contract assignment will involve deep commercial insight and strategy for the Retailers new product line for 2017. This 6 month fixed term contract is paying up to £90K base + £7K car allowance + up to 40% Bonus.

You will have either current or recent experience in Commercial Finance within a large food Retailer or FMCG food environment into Retail. In order to succeed you will already have experience partnering with Sales & Operations departments and have the exposure of dealing with multi-million pound budgets in addition you will have the commercial gravitas to manage senior stakeholders on strategy and financial in-put on specific product lines and their development. In addition you will be responsible for providing insight to the Commercial Finance Director on product trend, competitor analysis and store performance.

Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• CIMA/ACA/ACCA fully qualified (or overseas equivalent relevant experience)
• Extensive experience gained within the food retailing environment is essential, though non-food retailing or FMCG into a Retail will be considered
• Experience of managing relationships and being able to impact and influence senior non-financial management
• Can positive manage and receive challenge
• Experience of leading and developing teams
• Experience of performing detailed financial performance analysis, with high standards, accuracy and presentation
• Proactive problem solver with ability to analyse complex data and see trends and patterns in the results
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex data for others
