Assistant Accountant, Wembley
£25,000 - £33,000 plus Bonus plus Excellent Benefits

We are currently working alongside a rapidly growing organisation to source a Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant. This is genuinely an exceptional opportunity and a chance to gain a real breadth of experience in a small, but growing, business.

Main responsibilities:
- Assist the management accountant and financial controller in creating documented processes policies and controls that ensure robust management of financials across all entities
- Liaising with the rest of the Finance Team to produce management accounts, including accruals and prepayments of costs, across all entities and report on performance to the Financial Controller
- Perform monthly bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany reconciliations
- Create good working relationships with other departments to ensure reporting needs are met
- Assist with driving a robust budgeting process across all entities
- Assist the Finance Team with day to day transactional processing, bank payments and any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Assist with production of quarterly VAT Returns
- Ensure accurate and timely close of year end, producing year end audit files across all entities

The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a real drive to succeed and overcome any obstacle presented to them. You will be studying towards your ACCA/CIMA qualification and have previous experience doing a similar role. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills as well as experience preparing statutory company accounts. You will have excellent communications skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your work load.
