Robertson Bell is proud to be working with Brain Research Trust to recruit a Finance Manager to join their highly capable team. The organisation work to promote and support research into the causes, treatment, prevention and cure of neurological diseases. This role will provide strategic input and be a pivotal role in the finance team. Reporting into the Head of Finance and is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation at an exciting time of growth point of development.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Finance to bring together the management accounts and the statutory accounts. They will take strategic oversight of the operational areas of finance and develop and improve systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency in the department. This role will have key exposure to the charity's development over the next few years and be fundamental in making these important changes. The Finance Manager will work closely with budget holders to provide a clear and concise service from finance to other departments and develop other areas.

Brain Research Trust are looking for a candidate who is an excellent communicator to join their dynamic team and share a passion about the charity sector. The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have previous experience in producing statutory and management accounts.

They will be driven, passionate and highly numerate in order to maintain a smooth and organised finance team. Experience of working in a charity previously is desirable but not essential so candidates from all sectors are welcome to apply.
