Senior Planning Analyst

Our client, a highly sought after FTSE 100 with exciting growth planned across the Group, through the expansion of existing brands, as well as developing new concepts, is looking for a top calibre Senior Planning Analyst to join its talented team on an initial interim basis until the end of 2017. This role will work alongside Finance and Commercial to deliver new site appraisals, extensions and associated investment, combined with complete analysis and commentary. You will play a pivotal part in driving strategy and supporting the Group in achieving growth plans.

Main duties include:
* Owning the investment commercial appraisal models and their development
* Managing the delivery of commercial performance data and report submissions
* Support site specific & ad hoc analysis
* Continually improve the evaluation process
* Review quality and performance of new openings, supporting the post completion review process and identifying future opportunities

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a highly commercial role, utilising strong Excel skills and ability to work with large and complex models. You will have examples to date where you have influenced decision making, by making sound, insightful and value-adding recommendations to the business. You must also have the ability to understand, translate and present financials, used as evidence to support your suggestions.

From an interpersonal perspective you will consider yourself to be confident and credible, able to build cross-functional relationships and challenge the status quo where necessary.
