* Full management responsibility for the UK Finance team, and management responsibility for the outsourced service providers in France, Netherlands and Spain. Ensuring the smooth running of operations.
* Monthly financial reporting close process, ensuring all key controls surrounding the reporting close are operating effectively.
* Responsible for all statutory account and taxation filings, ensuring these are accurate and submitted in a timely fashion.
* Management of the relationship with external auditors during the statutory accounts process.
* Provide support to Global Shared Service Centre (GSSC) activities
* Review and endorsement of capital projects
* Provide accounting advice on commercial arrangements under consideration within the business
* Where required lead and support Business and Finance projects
* Support any additional responsibilities within the scope of the role
To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant who is used to working in a complex business and can -
* Proactively add value to the business beyond just accurately producing the numbers
* Is confident dealing with senior stakeholders in other divisions
* Proactively identify efficiencies within the business to reduce costs
Additionally you will

* Excellent technical accounting skills (US GAAP an advantage)

Salary up to £65k plus an annual bonus opportunity and a wide range of additional benefits.
