Senior Financial Accountant

This dynamic and rapidly growing medium sized FinTech has seen consistent, award winning success since its inception in the late 90's. As a global organisation that has expanded from its original product offering to one of multiple products across an enormous range of customers, it has transformed the way in which businesses around the world interact.

As the company continues its impressive year on year growth, the business is now hiring for a key role in the finance team. Reporting to the International Financial Controller, responsibilities will include:

• Formalisation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
• Month end processing, understanding variances and review of branch activity
• Reconciling accounts with overseas branches / companies in various currencies
• Support core accounting functions such as billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash
• Preparation of budgets / forecasts and monthly management reporting
• Year-end audit
• Deputise for the Financial Controller and supporting the smooth running of the team

This role will suit a Finalist Level or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with at least 3 years of experience from a Financial Services business. You will need to have excellent communication skills reporting to senior level stakeholders, and have the ability to support the Financial Controller in running the team including coaching and mentoring more junior members of staff.
