Our client is seeking an ambitious Assistant Financial Controller to join a growing multinational business based in Crewe. The business is currently going through a period of growth and as such is looking to recruit an ambitious individual with the appetite to develop within their career.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the individual will have a varied and pivotal role across the company which will work closely with the FC, and also with the wider business in order to provide high quality management reporting to the business.

- Daily cash forecasting
- Sales analysis and gross margin reporting
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including balance sheet, profit and loss account, and supporting reconciliation schedules
- Producing intercompany accounts reconciliations
- VAT returns & HMRC reporting
- Liaising with external auditors and preparation of audit materials
- Development of junior members of the team.
- Continual improvement to reporting processes
- CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance role
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
