A fast paced multination FMCG/retail business is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join them to assist during a busy period, based in Slough, £300-£350 per day.
Key duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Ensure full transparency, understanding and interpretation of Product/Channel P&L's, clearly articulating drivers of direct costs and allocations of indirect overheads.
- To lead the evaluation and challenge spend on projects and major programme activity to ensure that investments activity is optimised to deliver the best returns to the organisation.
- Lead development of benefits tracking and post investment reviews to ensure that benefits are delivered in line with approved business cases.
Key candidate requirements
- Qualified accountant
- Significant business partnering/commercial experience
- Previous FMCG/retail experience
- Driven, ambitious and a self-starter
- Excellent communication skills
