Financial Controller

We are currently working with a manufacturing business based in the heart of East Lancashire who are looking for someone to join the business and lead the site from a financial prospective. You will work closely with the MD and senior board members, and your role will be a prominent profile on the site in providing the financial direction.

Responsibilities include:-

* Manage the processes and controls across the business in order to report accurate working capital and company assets

* Produce the monthly reporting pack with supporting KPIs and full commentary to board level

* Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process and continuous reporting on cashflow forecasting throughout the year

* Fully responsible for the year end audit and all corporate reporting and tax

* Manage the transactional processes and promote a team ethos within the function

* Prepare and process the company payroll and all HMRC and tax provisions associated with it

The successful candidate will be experienced in the following: -

* Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience of managing a team

* Experience and strong knowledge of financial reporting within the manufacturing environment

The role will also involve managing a small finance team and report accurately the financial reports, providing controls and stringent processes across the site, including non-finance departments. You will have gained some solid experience within a manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate a good level of all the processes associated within manufacturing production. The role offers the candidate autonomy and the chance to step up into the number one role on site.
