Senior Tax Consultant

Venture Recruitment Partners is working with a Leading Accountancy Practice based in Dorset who are looking to recruit a Senior Tax Consultant on a permanent basis.

The Directors have created this role because there is more opportunity within their existing client base to maximise their Tax work both of the Corporate and Personal side. You will work in close proximity to the Senior Management Team and be a client focal point for Tax matters.

This person will be given the freedom to operate across the firm’s 5 main business areas and have the support of a strong technical Tax team across multiple locations in the Dorset / South Somerset area. Their client base is predominantly SME’s and Owner Managed Businesses, but they also have larger clients (particularly on the Audit side) with an International focus.

This person needs to be able to operate in the Dorset area during the week, but although preferred does not require a residence there.

This position will be a part of the Senior Management Team and there will be opportunity to develop within the company. They have an excellent company culture which recognises the need for a work-life balance and this could be attractive to someone coming from a Top 10 firm.

The role will pay a starting base salary of between £55-65k (depending on experience) + benefits, including 25 days holiday, company phone, pension, private medical, life cover and business mileage.

You will be either ACA, CTA or ATT Qualified, but they will also consider people who are Qualified by Experience. It is strongly preferred for people to come from a Mixed-Tax background and have worked for an Accountancy Practice.
