Head of Finance

Reed Finance are pleased to announce a Senior Finance position is available for a reputable and established family business.

The Head of Finance will direct and control the finance department to ensure the provision of accurate, timely and appropriate accounting and financial services to the Company are continuously achieved.

Reporting into the MD, responsibilities include:

* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Presentation of financial reports to senior management
* Annual budgets and capital expenditure plans.
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Overseeing all tax and regulatory/compliance issues
* Auditing
* Contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy
* KPI reporting
* Cash-flow forecasting
* Development of policies and procedures.

Your background must include sound knowledge of ERP systems including SAGE and Excel and you must be a CCAB qualified accountant

You will need to be comfortable balancing hands-on financial management with making senior-level decisions as part of this job. Acting as the link between the accounts department and senior management is crucial here, therefore strong communication and decision making skills are essential. In addition, the ability to manage and motivate a team is very important.
