Finance Business Partner

Operating within content distribution, advertising and sponsorship and subscription platforms, the group has enjoyed exponential growth through innovative design, leading edge technology and new channels to market. As the result of a strategic expansion programme, a high-profile opportunity exists for a 2:1/1st class graduate ACA or CIMA qualified accountant, to step into a Finance Business Partner role supporting a key business division. A broad & varied brief includes:

•Driving the preparation of monthly financial results
•Business Partnering with MD, Commercial Director & Heads of Department
•Preparation of monthly management accounts including variances, revenue & cost analysis
•Development & review of annual budget & monthly forecasts of business performance
•Provision of commercial financial modelling, analysis & support to Directors & Account Management Teams
•Ad-hoc financial analysis for long term strategic projects & business deals
•Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations & ensuring balances are adequately explained
•Continuous improvement of financial reporting systems & processes
•Management & development of divisional finance team

As a 2:1/1st class graduate qualified ACA or CIMA with excellent technical and commercial accounting exposure gained within a Big 4/Top 10 firm or a FTSE Plc, you will be looking for your next challenge. You will demonstrate evidence of supporting senior stakeholders, advanced Excel skills and hands-on staff management. The role demands commercial acumen, the ability to build robust business relationships and the gravitas to influence the non-finance community.
