My client is seeking to recruit a high calibre Finance Manager to join their finance team and help drive business improvements.
The role will offer an opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse business and will offer the right candidate career options within the business. It will give exposure to business unit leaders, finance directors and operational teams across the wider business.
You should be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 2 years PQE and be technically minded with experience of both IFRS and UK GAAP. You should also have strong excel skill and excellent financial and analytical skills as you will be taking responsibility for the following tasks:
-Managing the Financial Accounting team, 2 direct reports
-Responsible for all cash and balance sheet related aspects of the business
-Weekly cash forecasting, driving opportunities to maximise cash and manage working capital
-Reporting Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow performance and submitting budget / forecasts to Group
-Responsible for preparing Statutory Accounts and acting as the primary contact for year-end Audit
-Reviewing Tax Packs and dealing with all tax related queries
-Reporting monthly performance and weekly KPI's to the leadership team along with preparing quarterly forecast presentations to Group
-Perform scenario analysis and financial modelling
-Keep up to date with Accounting Standards and implement new accounting treatments where necessary
-Understanding and analysing business risks and strategies
