A Leading European wide Managed Services Provider within Print Technology are now looking for an Qualified Financial Analyst to join their Head Office based in Mid Kent.
This role has emerged due to expansion and will be reporting into the Senior Financial Analyst.
The client works with several prestigious brands such as Ted Baker, MacDonalds & BDO and are a true leader in their field.
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of business performance analytics, identification of trends, risks and commercial opportunities. The successful applicant will be comfortable in analysing large amounts of transactional data to identify trends and insights, which will help to drive the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the delivery of robust and detailed budgets and forecasts, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance, particularly in the area of revenue and gross margin
- Preparation of short term cash flow projections
- Business partnering with Business Ordering and Billings teams to produce management information and analysis of revenue and margins
- Monitoring and analysis of key supplier activity and calculation of rebates
- Assist in the development of financial models and systems
- Ad hoc reporting, analysis and commission statement production
- Proactively managing workload to ensure all deadlines are met within month-end timetable.
Person Specification:
- Newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Good analytical and financial modelling skills
- Advanced Excel skills along with proficiency in Word
- Experience in working within a business partnering role preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, and comfortable with dealing with large bodies of data.
