My Client, a leading University are looking for a Credit Controller to manage key accounts and build long term relationships whilst achieving collection targets on a monthly basis. This permanent role is looking to offer the right individual stability and a great office environment to work within.
This Credit Controller position is seen as a key member of the finance function interacting with the wider business, of which has a great track record of rewarding staff and offing flexibility for individuals to over achieve. A vibrant and sociable team and a supportive manager to aid in providing a good handover and in depth education on the key accounts you'll be managing.
Responsibilities include;
-Lead on the credit policies across the whole of the University
-Enhance debt management
-Liaising with customers to ensure payment is received on time
-Build strong working relationships to enhance internal control
-Ensure customer query resolution and customer statements are sent accordingly
-Account reconciliations
-Monthly cash flow projections
-Maintaining various spreadsheets.
The successful candidate will be numerate and have a good understanding of accounting transactions with demonstrable Credit Control experience. You will be a lateral thinker with an inquisitive approach and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, yet still be head strong to deliver and extract information in an effective manner. This exceptional opportunity is best suited for candidates from either an Education, NHS or a Commercial background.
