The role of the MI Managers is to support end to end UK Financial MI reporting processes and to drive process improvements and developments, with particular focus on implementing robust reporting processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating accurate and timely Management Information by becoming a process SME and trusted advisor to Business Finance, Management Reporting, IT and the MI Production teams based overseas
- Documentation, communication and agreement of reporting approach and plan
- Delivering new bank reporting through the definition, design, planning and implementation of required systems changes and supporting business processes
- Ensure an on-going commitment to outstanding financial controllership and reporting integrity throughout the end to end MI production process for Europe and UK
- Driving improved process efficiency and effectiveness and 'one version of the truth', in line with the strategies set by the Head of Business Process & Control
- Other ad-hoc BAU and project support as required during this period of significant change at the bank
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Qualified Accountant
- Experience managing project workstreams
- Advanced systems skills - Excel, VBA, Macros, Bespoke Systems etc.
- Experience designing and / or managing MI or Reporting generation processes;
- Exposure to reporting systems and processes including data capture, data transformation and allocations;
- Experience working in large complex matrix management environments;
- A track record of implementing continuous process improvement and an excellent understanding of the levers necessary to successfully implement change;
- Experience working with offshore teams and/or migration projects.
