Key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst:

  • Directly support the Brand and Business Development teams with financial modelling of new business opportunities
  • Perform financial feasibility reviews of potential new franchise stores
  • Manage Post Investment Appraisal / Post Implementation Reviews for all investment projects
  • Work with the wider International Finance team to accurately report on the division's financial performance, and plan and forecast revenue budgets and capital requirements
  • Analyse the performance of the business and support in driving the group's profitability
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor with a "seat at the table" to offer effective strategic support
  • Seek opportunities to drive positive change in Finance and business processes to improve efficiency, maximise value for money and improve stakeholder experience

Candidate Requirements - You you will not be shortlisted if you do not meet the following:

  • My client are looking for an ambitious, hardworking individual to fit into their team. The ability to communicate effectively is a pre-requisite, as you'll be dealing with a variety of people at different levels across the business.
  • You also need to have a questioning approach and the confidence to challenge established ways of working.
  • Highly numerate and analytical, you have had experience with financial modelling. IT skills should include strong fluency in Excel and capability of working with IT systems, Access and PowerPoint.
  • We look for people with a solid understanding of business environments and a sound level of commercial awareness.
  • Retail experience is highly preferable.
  • You are a recently qualified Finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or in the final stages of the qualification process.
