Billing Process Manager

Our client, a Data Analytics Startup based in Central London, is seeking a Billing Process Manager to join their team on a temporary basis to manage the implementation of a new billing process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a business needs analysis, consulting with stakeholders including Finance, Customer Success and Engineering functions.
• Research billing solutions ranging from off-the-shelf platforms to self-built software or databases. Evaluate each on a cost/benefit basis.
• Present the options to management together with recommendations
• Implement the chosen solution and integrate with existing systems.
• Design the surrounding rules and processes for invoicing
• Produce documentation and the system, how it works, how it is implemented and how to configure it.
• Train staff to self-sufficiency, including handling future changes to business rules.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of working in the software industry, preferably in a SaaS business.
• Proven experience performing business analysis and developing new processes
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proven communication skills.
• Results oriented, resilient under pressure and energetic.
• At least 5 years' experience of implementing financial processes including billing solutions in a software environment.
