Finance Analyst
An exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join an acclaimed and driven services business based in Surrey. As the Finance Analyst, you will report directly to the Head of FP&A, as well as supporting them and the wider business heads for monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting and any ad-hoc tasks; this is therefore an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the business.
As the Finance Analyst, your role will entail, but not limited to:
- Looking at central overhead costs, you will produce financial reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting; you will also support the Head of FP&A through guaranteeing analysis is provided for the central costs.
- Working collaboratively with the different teams across the business, utilising effective communication skills, you will ensure that actual costs are accounted for which will include the approval of any requisitions and invoices.
- You will need to demonstrate your unrivalled understanding of the financial results, communicating what has impacted the financial performance, whilst utilising the annual trackers which you will produce to explain any issues to business heads throughout the year.
- In addition to supporting the Head of FP&A with any ad-hoc financial planning and analysis, you will provide financial insight and support for any group wide initiatives.
- You will develop and manage cost reporting across the group, ensuring that it provides insight which will impact the business in a positive way, whilst identifying opportunities for cost reductions. You will also continuously identify risks and opportunities across the business.
You will need to be a personable Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent, with experience in a forward focused role. As the Finance Analyst, you will need to have strong analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills as you will need to confidently work with the wider business. It is essential that you have advanced IT skills, including Excel.
